About Cold Nepal
The Community for Local Development (COLD Nepal) is a nonprofit, non political affiliated organization & fully accredited by the Nepal Government. COLD/Nepal is planned to work around the Nepal among needy community in the public health, education, economic development, and combat with poverty, woman empowerment and arrange to provide volunteers either in school to teach or in hospitals. We would like to thank Google Treks Nepal Pvt. Ltd. (www.etreksnepal.com) for its contribution and sincerity to establish this organization.
COLD/Nepal is always eager to organize campaign for Non formal and Informal education, health and bio diversity and environment protection issues. We are always aware to pay more attention for orphans and elders. We always try our best to do among back warded, minority, helpless, poor, illiterate community for sustainable improvement in Nepal. Furthermore we do have plans to look after for victims of war and natural calamities.
The working team of COLD/Nepal is a dynamic team, with a fusion of experts from various fields like public health, education, health worker and social worker. We do have sounds knowledge and information about the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and we are always happy to work with organizations who are working to achieve the goals, they might be unit of Nepal government, local NGOs, INGOs, UN & WHO affiliated organizations. We highly inspired the tourists who wish to do volunteering and financial support for COLD/Nepal. We are aimed to provide school uniforms, stationeries and stuffs that the orphans need for their education.
